How to make liquid soap!

Different types of liquid soap are in wide use all around the world, and today we will tell you how to make liquid soap in Nigeria. It is very easy to make.


1.1.LIQUID SOAP FOR DISHWASHING AND HOME CLEANING

Items needed: Measuring bowl, cans, gloves, spoon, bottles, water,.
To prepare 40 liters of liquid soap, you will need:
6-16 teaspoons- Sodium laurate Sulphate (SLS)
480 G - C.M.C (Carboxymethyl cellulose)/Antisol/Nitrosol.
10-20 teaspoons-Texapon
2L sulphonic Acid
165g-Caustic Soda
35L-Water
245g-Soda Ash
10-20 teaspoons- Sodium Tripolyphosphate (S.T.P.P)
Colorant and perfume (fragrance) optional


Soap making process:

1. Soften the caustic soda with 2 liters of water and leave for one hour or for overnight.

2. Soften soda ash in 2 liters of water and leave for one hour or for overnight

3. Flow sulphonic acid into measuring bowl, add texapon for the pleasant smell of your liquid soap adds a perfume (fragrance) then add 10 liters of water.
4. Stir carefully for 10 minutes.
5. Soften the SLS with 1.25 liters of water, soften the STPP with 1.25 liters of water too.
6. Add nitrosol if you want to use carboxymethyl cellulose instead. Make sure that it's softened in 10 liters of water 2 days before soap making.
7. Add soften caustic soda and stir carefully, then add soften soda ash and again mix accurately. If you decided to use also formalin, add it then
8. Add soften S.T.P.P and blend well, add then soften SLS and stir again.
9. To have relevant color, add colorant and stir.
10. Now it is high time to add water, the amount of which depends on the wished texture of the soap. It is better to leave the mishmash for one day and after that is ready to be used.



1.2.COSMETIC LIQUID SOAP FOR BODY AND HANDS

Items needed: Olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, alkaline solution, potassium hydroxide.

Soap making process:
1. Start to mix olive oil and coconut oil

2. Add water and shea butter. Put on the stove and heat until it becomes homogenous.
3. In small portions, add an alkaline solution. Dissolve potassium hydroxide until it becomes clear and mix thoroughly.
4. Mix the composition by blender, it should become liquid. Place the mixture for three hours in a water bath, do not forget to stir it constantly. It will become clear quite quickly.
5. After three hours, you will have excellent liquid soap. Store the with a soap bottle dispenser

Nigerians slam Justice Mary Odili for accusing opposition of trying to chaos amid tribunal verdict.

  Nigerians have taken to social media to slam Retired Justice Mary Odili for suggesting that those who filed petitions against the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as winner of the 2023 presidential election are trying to cause chaos in the country.
